Support the Key Workers

Updated: May 6, 2020

Unfortunately we are all aware that a lot of places have had to close over the last couple of months, including Theatres, Schools, Clubs, Bars, Festivals and Events.

This has meant we have a lot of equipment stored in our warehouse with nothing to do. So we thought we would donate our equipment and expertise free of charge to help our local community show their support for our key workers.

We approached Guy Salmon Jaguar and asked if we could help them show their support as they are offering free labour on all repairs.

We also offered our services to Sher from Sher's Sandwich Stop & Coffee Bar on Sandy Park road as she has been preparing and sending out loads of goody bags to our NHS workers.

We also bumped into the folks from The Club, Brislington Conservative Club on Wick Road who donated all their perishable stock to Sher.

Next we approached City Motors in Arno's Vale as they have remained open to offer key workers and motability customers servicing and repairs.

Shortly after, we spoke to Caroline Magic at Enchanted Wedding Events on Sandy Park road who has been sending a 'Party in a box' to homes and hospitals to allow people to still celebrate their special moments despite the current situation. She is also offering VE Celebration packs!

Finally (for now) we lit S J Cook & Sons showroom in Kingswood, who are re-opening next week to offer their services.

Overall we are incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve during this time. It's incredibly rewarding being allowed to show our appreciation for those that rarely expect or even accept praise or thanks.

While we have equipment left, we will still be hunting out the people supporting our community and offer our services completely free.

Thank-you Key Workers, your doing us all proud!
